The village
of Mazomanie, Wisconsin (located 20 miles west of Madison),
is establishing itself as a cultural tourist destination. The Downtown
Historic District, comprised of 32 commercial and industrial buildings,
is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a unique
collection of renovated storefronts and buildings from the mid 1800's.
The beautifully restored Mazomanie Historic Art Center is located
at 103 Crescent Street, in the building that originally housed the
Parman's blacksmith shop.

In the last
few years the Center has hosted numerous exhibits and workshops.
By supporting the arts and fostering the growth of shops, restaurants
and galleries, the historic brick and stone structures of Mazomanie
are once again becoming home to a vibrant business and arts community.
During
the Spring Art Tour the Art Center will be exhibiting artworks by
Susan Klabak of Mazomanie, and Lori Haack, Sue Schuetz and Barbara
Anderson of Cross Plains. Click their names (below) to find out
more about these fine artists.
ART
CENTER ACCESS: The first floor of the gallery is at ground level
