Cave
of the Mounds - National Natural Landmark
Discover Buried Treasure Discover Fun. This natural limestone
cave offers guided tours daily on paved and lighted walkways. Tours
pass a stunning array of colorful crystal formations including stalactites,
stalagmites and columns. Enjoy the constant 50 degree year round temperature.
While on the grounds, have a picnic and enjoy gemstone mining, the
Rock and Gift Shop, butterfly gardens and prairie restoration. Cave

Black Earth, Wisconsin is a pleasant 10 minute drive north on State
Highway 78 from Mount Horeb. Located in a turn of the century meat
market, one of Dane Countys first walk-in coolers was remodeled
to include a full service bar. The building is listed on the National
Register of Historic places. Relax in the Cleaver Lounge and be tempted

The
Grumpy Troll Brewery, Restaurant & Pizzeria
is located in historic downtown Mount Horeb.
Formerly a cheese factory, the 100 year old building was transformed
into a brewery and restaurant in 1998. The brewery is located on the
main floor adjacent to the dining room and can be viewed through large
windows. Brewery tours are available almost anytime and a free group
tour with the brewmaster can be arranged by calling the brewery. We
feature 12 distinct handcrafted beers daily. We offer a full lunch

internationally known artist has made one-of-a-kind, nature theme
Clay Art Pottery since 1976 collected by 4,000 patrons, 33 galleries
